Nerissa has studied many styles of dance including American cabaret, Tribal style, Greek, Turkish and Lebanese.  Nerissa is known for her dramatic veil work and lively drum solos and most importantly she has the ability to relate well to and interact with a diverse audience.

Her performance history includes residencies at The Desert Café, The Nile Café and The Red Maple. She has performed at more than 20 different area restaurants and events beyond that including the Best of Baltimore party at Power Plant Live, The PA Fairie Festival (three years), Dance Baltimore! at the Morris Mechanic Theater, Rigatoni’s Greek Nights and the Baltimore Women's Festival. Additionally, she was an invited guest performer with the Bellydance Superstars when their tour stopped in Baltimore in March 2004. They asked her to perform for them again two more times in 2005. Nerissa has also created programs for Girl Scout Dance Badges and performs at birthday parties, showers, holiday parties and corporate events.  
She is available for private parties for all ages and as a restuarant featured dancer; No all-male parties will be considered. Props include veil, tray, zills and fire staff.
